After Lille, Bad Harzburg, Istanbul, the 4th meeting of our project Happier YOUth in a healthier EU took place from 05 to 11 February at our Dutch partner, the Cartesius Lyceum in Amsterdam. The theme of the meeting was “Life On, Internet off”.
There were many activities:
– Reflection on “Netiquette” and the place of the internet in the daily life of young people. The advantages and dangers.
– Visit to the Van Gogh museum, with a focus on self-portraits, followed by a workshop on “Selfie without smartphone”.
– Sports activities: Ice skating Jaap Eden IJsbaan https://www.jaapeden.nl/ , introduction to Capoeira, traditional games
– Creative workshop at the Oba https://www.oba.nl/
– City tours, including a boat tour and a rally in the Jordaan district.
Memory was not forgotten during the stay, with a highlight for all participants being a visit to the Anne Franck House https://www.annefrank.org/nl/
The next and last meeting for this project will be in Barcelona in May, on the theme of “Move your life”. This will be an opportunity to meet up with the whole partnership and to look forward to new projects.
