A new partnership with India

Our last exchange with our Indian partners took place in late 2019/early 2020. Contacts were kept during the pandemic, several projects were carried out in visio, but many changes have also taken place in our partners, and we now have to rebuild.

A new partnership is currently being set up with two schools in Dehradun, in the North Indian state of Uttarakhand, about 230 km from New Delhi.

Doon school, founded in 1935, which only accepts boys in boarding schools
and Hopetown girl’s school, a boarding school for girls only.

Following the invitation made by the schools, Frédéric Rousselle, Director of OEC International, went to Dehradun in order to prepare an exchange which should take place in November/December 2023. It was an opportunity for about fifteen of our students to immerse themselves in the life of an Indian high school student in two prestigious establishments, and also to discover Uttarakhand, close to the Himalayas.
