Erasmus+ Archipelago, a “hybrid” final production
Due to the pandemic, the tour planned in May/June 2020 then postponed to October/November 2020 of our Erasmus + Archipelago project had to be cancelled.
Rather than abandoning the project, we decided, with our Greek and Turkish partners, to give an end to this project, by making a documentary film gathering archive images, as well as filming made by each partner in our establishments (scenes played, interviews…). The national agency gave us another six months to finalise this production.
On December 7th and 8th, the whole team was gathered at the high school: a director, Frédéric Touchard, assisted by a sound engineer, Adrien. The artistic direction of the project, Thierry Poquet and Marc Duport (Eoliesonge company), a musician, composer, Ivann Cruz, and the technical team, François Breux (stage manager) and Gordo (lighting designer). We would like to thank them.
Small groups of students (european class), as well as the parents, were able to attend the workshops and several scenes performed by Gwladys, Tsovinar, Arthur, James and Vianney (now in their final year), respecting the strict sanitary protocol.
These scenes, the interviews, as well as the productions received by our partners are currently being edited. The finished film will be ready for screening in the spring of 2021.
